What You Ought To Know About Autism

    He's a little too quick to rule out vaccinations. The CDC is stonewalling researchers on obtaining data regarding autism rates since thermisol was removed from all childhood vaccines, and at least one study using the VARS system indicates there might be a correlated drop in autism.

    You have to ask, if there were no correlation, would the CDC be resisting the release of data with vaccine researchers?

    This study uses less than ideal data, but you will see why if you watch this interview with the researchers who wrote the above paper. The CDC is stonewalling on releasing better data.

    I think lost in the "correlation" is the fact autism has become an "umbrella" for various diseases. Thus, how can we be sure that the increase in autism is not merely due to the increasing number of diseases under the autism umbrella?

    Gentle question: How does a larger umbrella explain hypothesized (and somewhat substantiated via the VARS study) declining autism rates since thermisol was removed from most childhood vaccines?

    (NOTE correction....all changed to most, because it is my understanding that many flu vaccines still have thermisol.)

    Point taken. I was under the impression that autism rates were still climbing.
